• “The Grenville was a wonderful host for our wedding reception. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious and the rooms lived up to expectations. They even came with beach passes so everyone could enjoy the beach the day after. I would highly recommend the Grenville as a the perfect reception location at the Jersey Shore.”

“I used to commute between a northern NJ home and a Bay Head, NJ office that required multiple night stays twice per month for several years. Throughout that time, I called The Grenville my “other home”. It’s always been an amazing place to stay, from the rooms to the staff, and even the food is always great. It was nice that I could eat here and not have to worry about going out after a long day (or week) in the office. Since the remodeling, it’s even better, and I am happy to have visited recently to see how wonderful the place looks. Can’t say enough good things – if you’re looking for a beautiful beach getaway, The Greenville has it all – from hotel to restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We had a wonderful time celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary at the Grenville Hotel and Restaurant in Bay Head, New Jersey. From the initial phone call for reservations until the time we checked out we felt like we were right at home! The hospitality, food, service and quality were nothing less than a ROYAL. Scott, Dale, Allen, Renay and Harry we love you guys!!! You are like family now! We hope to see you all again real soon!”

  • “I’ve known The Grenville through 3 owners now and it not only survives, but blossoms. Just had two wonderful days in The Grenville, in Bay Head, NJ after a ten year absence. Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating, for my husband’s Parkinson’s. Of course, there is the elevator, but we could park in the lot near the hotel, which is generally not used by guests, but with the off-season and the ongoing work on Rte 35, Main Avenue was much appreciated. Dinner was quite grand that evening and let us stay in, rather than having to go out after our drive down. The room was quite comfortable and now has flat screen TV, but it was much more interesting watching the sun come up over the ocean from our window one day one and watch the ocean churn in a not too bad storm the next. It was good to be back to show my husband where I spent many happy summers and, old New England fan that he is, he now looks forward to our next trip. A great success. indeed. Thank you.”
